VMworld 2021 – Ready, set, go!
The 5th of October is the official start of VMworld 2021. As told in the previous post for the second year the event is going to happen virtually around the globe, and free. There are still few hours to sign up. In this post, I’ll share my agenda and some sessions I found interesting especially if you are interested in modern applications and cloud integrations. Let’s see in-depth.
My Agenda
As I previously said in my last post, this year I prepared a session talking about the two sides of automation APP1412: a quick overview from infrastructure deployment to application CI/CD, with best practices and automation pipelines examples that I and my good friend Manuel Coppotelli have gathered during our working experience.
But the Agenda is really full of sessions that are coming from the VMware employees and professional people that are coming from companies and communities like VMUG and VMware {Code}. Here I’d like to highlight some of them:
- APP2436 – Meet the Expert: Tanzu Kubernetes Grid with Eric Shanks and Tim Carr, an interactive session with two great people to
- CODE2749 – Adding Custom Logic to TKG Cluster Deployment with my good friend and Hackathon team-mate Scott Rosenberg
- MCL1084 – VMware vSAN – Dynamic Volumes for Traditional and Modern Applications with Duncan Epping and Cormac Hogan
And again:
- APP1630 – The Fast Path to Kubernetes with VMware Tanzu
- SEC1028 – A Practical Guide to implementing Zero Trust
- GWS-HOL-221-08-CMP – A Cloud Management Journey from Monolith to Modern Apps with vRealize Suite.
- UX2501 – Always Available Infrastructure in vSphere – Design Studio
- APP1670 – Deep-Dive Tutorial on How to Do DevSecOps with VMware and Tanzu Advanced
- APP2183 – Introducing to Kubernetes for the vSphere Admin
Special Guests and Last tips
As seen on the VMworld home page, there are some famous people like Will Smith, Michael J. Fox, and the presence of CEOs of some important companies like AWS, Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, and Google. So hurry-up! There are still some hours to sing-up and build your agenda… and… “virtually” see you there!
