I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve been honored with the vExpert 2025 award, marking my 11th consecutive year in this incredible program!
For those unfamiliar, vExpert is VMware’s global advocacy program that recognizes individuals who share knowledge, contribute to the community, and help others grow in the VMware ecosystem. It’s not just about technical expertise, it’s about fostering connections, exchanging ideas, and building a strong, supportive network of professionals passionate about virtualization, cloud, and automation.
Reflecting on 2024, it’s been a year filled with remarkable experiences and collaborations: from participating in VMware Explore 2024 Barcelona, where I engaged in community activities and streamed {code} sessions, to the {code} Hackathon, where I had the privilege of serving as a coach, the past year was really amazing. But beyond the technical contributions, one of the greatest personal achievements since my first vExpert application in 2015 has been overcoming my shyness, breaking through language barriers, and gaining the confidence to speak in front of large audiences.
None of this would have been possible without the incredible people I’ve met along the way. A heartfelt thank you to Corey Romero, Eric Nielsen, Julia Klaus, Franky Barragan, Noel Greir, and everyone at VMware who makes this program what it is. Special thanks to VMUG Italy for always being a strong pillar of the Italian community.
I also want to express my gratitude to all the amazing community members I’ve met since the beginning of this journey: mentors, peers, and friends who have shaped my path in ways I never imagined.
