VMware Explore – Past and future podcast episodes

As many readers know, my good friend Manuel and I started our podcasting journey with “ThePipelineGuys,” discussing topics such as Cloud, Kubernetes, Automation, and Platforms.

VMware has been and will continue to be a focus in every episode. Before we start a series of posts and episodes about VMware Explore 2024, I’d like to celebrate our achievements during VMware Explore 2023 and VMUG Italy UserCon 2023.

VMware Explore 2023 – from warmup to the event

In September 2023, we entered the VMwareExplore 2023 moment, discussing the VMware acquisition by Broadcom and sharing perspectives and the funniest moments from previous editions. Following the Episodes and the links to our channel:

Episode 23: News from VMware Explore Las Vegas:

  • and can’t miss VMware {code} Hackathon preparation (a real in-person back to Hack since 2018).
  • Introducing NSX Plus
  • Introducing VSAN MAX and chatting about Storage Defined Datacenter
  • Discussing about management overhead and Edge data center
  • Launching Tanzu Application Engine to simplify Developer experience

Episode 24: Preparing for Barcelona!

  • Party and Community moments
  • My {code} session: from source code to Tanzu (Manuel promised me to join with a lot of questions… )
  • The expectations…
  • vRockstar, vBreakfast, vExpert Party

VMware Explore 2023 Special Episodes:

  • Day1: News and perspectives
  • Day2: chat with Max Moschini and Giovanni Dominioni

Great talks with VMware rockstars at VMUG UserCon 2023

During the VMware User Group Italy event, we had the opportunity to set up a live podcast with guests and speakers. In that show, we had the honor of featuring:

  • Cormac Hogan: Chief Technologist in the VMware Cloud Foundation division at VMware by Broadcom
  • Claudia Angelelli: Lead of the Technical Presales team at VMware by Broadcom Italy
  • Stefania Iannelli: Lead Solution Engineer at VMware by Broadcom Italy (today Account Executive at Armis)

It was truly amazing to share perspectives and experiences with them, especially during the delicate moment of the company merger.

Opening VMwareExplore 2024!

For sure, VMwareExplore 2024 will be another significant event packed with news and community moments, just like in previous years (an event I would never miss)! Like last year, I’ll be presenting at the {code} Theater, and Manuel and I are excited to dive into our next episodes about it. So stay tuned and don’t forget to follow our YouTube channel ThePipelineGuys!
